"Made in China" is carrying out a "quality revolution"

At the executive meeting of the State Council on August 24th, there was only one core topic: deploy and promote the standard and quality improvement of consumer goods, and increase the effective supply of "Made in China" to meet the demand of consumption upgrading. To promote "Made in China" to complete a "quality revolution", and to build an upgraded version of China's economy and to move China's economy towards the middle and high end, Premier Li Keqiang has always been thinking about this. Previously, on April 6th, the Standing Committee of the State Council decided to implement the "equipment manufacturing standardization and quality improvement plan" to lead the upgrading of "Made in China. From the historical context, at the beginning of the reform and opening up in the 1980 s, a large number of foreign consumer goods entered the Chinese market, from watches, household appliances to automobiles, etc. It is in this "open your eyes to see the world" that Chinese goods have gradually achieved import replacement after hard experience, occupying most of the domestic market and starting to be sold globally. However, as mentioned above, China is entering a new stage of development at present. More and more consumers have higher demands, while the quality of many domestic products has not kept up with it in time. At the same time, in terms of product innovation, there are many domestic products that are not worth mentioning. Therefore, it is not surprising that a large number of consumer goods are imported, and even the overseas consumption of residents as much as 1.5 trillion yuan a year.

Obviously, not comprehensively improving the standard and quality of consumer goods will, on the one hand, reduce consumer trust and directly affect the domestic consumer market; On the other hand, it will weaken the international competitiveness of Chinese products and affect export trade. The Prime Minister even described the current situation as "urgent.

To this end, the Prime Minister took promoting "made in China" to complete a "quality revolution" as a main line, which almost ran through all aspects of economic work. This standing meeting only arranges such a topic: that is, focusing closely on the fields of general consumer goods such as food, household appliances, consumer electronics, decoration, clothing and apparel, cosmetics and daily chemicals, maternal and child products for the elderly and the disabled, cultural, educational, sports and leisure products, which are closely related to the daily life of the masses and have strong consumer demand, to achieve quality improvement. Combined with the standing meeting on April 6th, there were not only sophisticated equipment manufacturing, but also daily consumer goods close to people's livelihood, and the jigsaw puzzle of "Made in China" became more complete at this point. As the premier pointed out before, "Made in China 2025" must not only engage in equipment, but must be an upgrade of the whole industry chain.

After that, what is the final support for completing the "quality revolution" of "Made in China? There is no doubt that it is the entrepreneurial spirit and craftsman spirit emphasized again and again by Premier Li Keqiang. Only with the former can there be continuous innovation of the system; Only with the latter can there be continuous improvement of products.
